Covid-19 response plan:
With the safety of instructors and students in mind, Amy's Scuba Connection will not be running any in-person courses until the North Peace Leisure Pool opens again to the public. Not only do we need to access the pool to run courses, once city recreation facilities open again it will be an indication that federal and provincial social distancing orders have loosened significantly, and we will feel comfortable to run courses again. We are hopeful courses will be running this summer, but it is likely that there will not be any in May or June. Please note, however, that if you would like to get started on a dive course you can start from home! We can register you in an online PADI eLearning course. Although this may only allow you to complete the first portion of the dive course that you are interested in, following completion of the online portion, you will have a year to start the next portion, and we will try our best to ensure that you have a spot in our next course.
Until May 31,2020, we are offering eLearning courses, when your register through Amy's Scuba connection, at unprecedented discounted rates!
Contact Amy to find out more about eLearning course options.

Enriched Air Diver CourseThe PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air Nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater. This course is made for a recreational diver looking for a way to do longer dives, more dives in a day or multiple days of diving. The Nitrox course includes the completion online the PADI Enriched Air eLearning modules, a one day class and there are no dives required for certification. We will not be diving into charlie lake this April, you will be in the comfort of your home and a warm classroom for the whole thing. |

Why become an Enriched Air Diver?
- Do more dives per day. You will have shorter surface intervals and get in the water faster with less nitrogen in your system.
- Reduce nitrogen uptake in the body, reducing the risk of Decompression Sickness.
- Do longer dives, increase your no decompression limit (with less nitrogen loading you can stay down longer)
- REDUCE POST DIVE FATIGUE! No more feeling burned out after air dives. More oxygen will make you feel better! You can do a week of diving without missing a dive to rest.
